Wilson County / Bexar County Homes and Land / CDPE
- Growing up in South Texas has been a wonderful experience. This area is growing and expanding into the new marketplace with great locations, easy convenience, good schools making this an excellent place to live. The weather is good, San Antonio has great features and things to do and yet you feel like you live in the peaceful country. I have added to my ability the Certification of CDPE which is Certified Distress Property Expert. Meeting a young couple with a small child who just gone through bankruptcy made me want to be able to help people in their situation.. When researching, CDPE was highly recommended to me. That course is great and really equips an agent to help anyone in a distressed situation. Not every agent has the tools to handle short sales.
- To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry. Faye earned her CDPE designation this year and is always ready to help anyone in a distressed situation.
- A Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) is a real estate professional with specific understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry. Through comprehensive training and experience, CDPEs are able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in today’s market.
- The prospect of foreclosure can be financially and emotionally devastating, and often homeowners proceed without guidance of any kind. The developers of the CDPE Designation believe that in almost all cases, the best course of action for a homeowner in distress is to speak with a well-informed, licensed real estate professional. They have the tools needed to help homeowners find the best solution for their situation.
- While enduring financial difficulties is challenging for any family, the process of finding a qualified real estate professional should not be. Selecting an agent with the CDPE Designation ensures you are dealing with a professional trained to address your specific needs.
- CDPEs don’t merely assist in selling properties, they serve and help save their clients in need.
- A REALTOR® is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
- The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
- Loyalty to clients;
- Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
- Cooperation with competitors;
- Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
